I spent part of this past summer making edits and putting the finishing touches on my good friend Doug Pricer’s fifth book.  It was a great honor to work with him and to have been a part of a process that so intricately blended historical background with powerful storytelling.

A Candle in the Chapel is a touching and compelling story that chronicles a young man’s journey from the peaceful shores of Long Beach to the raging bloodbath that was the Battle at Tarawa.  Readers are treated to brilliant descriptions of setting and action as they experience the intensity and intimacy of war.  The book is now available for sale at Xlibris, so grab a copy and let me know what you think, but don’t judge me if there is a missed comma.
