HISTORY OF COOL
Since Fall 2010, I have served as a consultant and advisor for History of Cool, a video series and web community that constantly gathers, organizes and presents the coolest things about any and every topic. From what’s hip in history to the cool on the cutting edge, History of Cool has it.
At present, the team is in discussions with various production studios and online content sites to coordinate a multi-channel launch. The website, which is currently in beta, can be viewed at historyofcool.com.
A CANDLE IN THE CHAPEL
I spent the Summer 2009 making edits and putting the finishing touches on my good friend Doug Pricer’s fifth book. It was a great honor to work with him and to have been a part of a process that so intricately blended historical background with powerful storytelling.
A Candle in the Chapel is a touching and compelling story that chronicles a young man’s journey from the peaceful shores of Long Beach to the raging bloodbath that was the Battle at Tarawa during WWII. Readers are treated to brilliant descriptions of setting and action as they experience the intensity and intimacy of war. The book is now available for sale at Xlibris, so grab a copy and let me know what you think, but don’t judge me if there is a missed comma.

FRISCO’S CATERING WEBSITE AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
Frisco’s Carhop® Bar and Grill Restaurants are well-known in the Los Angeles area for their food, music and roller-skating carhop waitresses. I worked with them to rebrand their catering division to broaden its services beyond those of the restaurants.
Incorporated into this effort was the design of a new logo, new promotional pieces, new business cards and a simple, but effective, website made in iWeb.
